Sharp AQUOS becomes “Official High-definition Television of
Major League Baseball”
Major League Baseball Properties (MLBP) announced a multi-year sponsorship agreement to make Sharp AQUOS the “Official High-Definition Television of Major League Baseball”.
Major League Baseball telecasts more games in High-Definition (HD) than any other sport, with more than 1,300 locally televised games during the 2006 season. Sharp AQUOS line of LCD-TV’s provides bright, crisp, high definition images making it the perfect television to watch a detailed game like baseball. The relationship with MLB is an important part of Sharp AQUOS’ brand promotion since it helps reaching an audience that really understands the value of a great HD LCD-TV.
